Boy Ecury plot

Boy Ecury was born in Aruba in 1922. At the boarding school in Brabant, where he was sent by his father, Boy is the only black boy to have a hard time. He grows into a headstrong boy with a strong desire for justice. Then the war breaks out. Boy's resistance to the injustice around him grows. Initially he bullies the Germans in a fairly innocent way. Slowly but surely, his resistance becomes more serious. He deliberately joins the Knokploegen, who take care of the heaviest sabotage work. He becomes involved in a liquidation, after which the entire team is arrested. Boy wants to continue his resistance to the end and does not deny his sabotage activities.
