Big River plot

Immediately after arriving in the United States, Ali, a Pakistani man, begins his search for his estranged wife Nadia. Along the way, he meets Teppei, a Japanese hitchhiker trying to find his way across the United States, and Sarah, a woman from the local trailer park. The three manage to track down Ali's wife Nadia. Nadia, who, much to Ali's dismay, leads a new life with another man in Phoenix. Worried about the direction of his life, he decides to spend the rest of his time in America with Toppei and Sarah. In the short time that the three of them are together, they decide to embark on a new journey through America, searching for their identity.
