Grace and Carlo are newly married and live in New York. One day they go to stay with their old friends Sharyl and Joel. They have a closet from a house in the countryside. They are doing great financially, but their marriage is a complete disaster. That evening the couples talk frankly about sex, money and religion. All that openness leads to fierce confrontations. A few years later, the four reunite, now at Grace and Carlo in New York. It will be another night none of them will ever forget.
