Between Love and Honor plot

After the Vietnam War, Steve Collura returns to the Italian neighborhood in the American city where he was born and raised. Through his brother, who is a police officer, he comes into contact with detective Dominic Cellini. Cellini leads the infiltration into the Gambino mafia family. Steve joins Cellini and soon he has successfully infiltrated the Gambino family. During his work he meets Maria whom he falls madly in love with. Maria is a student but also the godson of godfather Carlo Gambino. Steve increasingly gains Carlo Gambino's trust and his love for Maria is mutual. However, his work as an undercover cop and the jealousy of Don Carlo's right-hand man put him in increasing danger.
