Beauty in Chains plot
Doña Perfecta is a powerful woman in the small Spanish village of Orbajosa. Rosarita, a young relative of hers, has been promised in marriage since childhood to Pepe Ray Don Jose, a boy she has never met. When she finally meets him, however, she falls in love with him. Unfortunately, he is seen in a bad light by Doña Perfecta and she decides to prevent the marriage and will stop at nothing, including murder, to achieve this.
