Batti Gul Meter Chalu plot
SK, Nauti and Tripathi are childhood friends. SK is a hypocritical, mean lawyer who makes money from out-of-court settlements. Nauti is an over-the-top fashion designer who thinks she is very important. Everything goes smoothly until Tripathi opens a printing shop in a small town. Within a few months, he is presented with a bill for an excessive electricity bill, which escalates to a huge amount in the following months. With nowhere to go to file a complaint, Tripathi commits suicide. SK is shocked by the events and has a change of heart. He decides to take on SPTL, a privatized electricity company that is responsible for the sky-high bills.
