Bartleby plot

Bartleby, a secretive and lonely boy, works as a clerk in Paul Scofield's accounting office. Because he really doesn't get along with Bartleby, Scofield fires his employee. But Bartleby refuses to leave and shows up in the office on time every day. Only when the young man is taken to the hospital does Scofield gain some peace of mind. Not for long, though, because even then the ghost of Bartley pops up.
