Babbitt plot

George F. Babbitt is a respectable, wealthy middle-aged real estate executive in the town of Zenith. Tired of the routine of family life, he finds that life has passed him by. In an attempt to relive his youth, he begins an affair with Tanis Judique, a seductive young woman with whom he plans to leave town. However, his son begs him to stay with his ailing wife.
