Baba plot

Baba (father) is a melodrama set in Istanbul. A father (Yılmaz Güney) cannot earn enough money to put bread on the table. He is waiting for confirmation in order to emigrate to Germany. When one day the son of a rich landlord kills a man, the father takes the blame so that the landlord will take care of his wife and children for food and shelter.
