Away & Back plot
"Why do paths cross?"
When a rare swan lands on his farm, widower Jack Peterson and his three children decide to protect the swan and her eggs. They are visited by bird expert Jennie Newsom who wants to study the birds. Much to Jack's regret, however, Jennie has more eyes for the swan family than for his family. When the swans migrate, so does Jennie. Jack's daughter Frankie tries to get Jennie back and link her to her father.
