James Kane lives a quiet life and has been unsuccessfully looking for love for a while. Emma, his ex-girlfriend from Germany, is contacting him via Facebook. The two broke up when Emma married Oskar, who recently passed away. She invites James to come to Germany and go to Oktoberfest together. Still perplexed by the suddenly restored contact, James accepts the invitation. Once in Germany, however, James ends up in a nightmare and has to deal with unpleasant things from his past again.
