The film tells four parallel stories about four men trying to survive among the filth and filth of Manila. First, there is a scammer who leaves his girlfriend. At the same time, an expectant father has to sell his body to pay for his wife's hospital costs. The Chinese Ronald, third, has a hard time getting a grip on his own identity. Finally, there's Baste, the overprotective son of a Filipino who lives abroad and wants to avenge his sister.
