Antidote plot

"The Cure is the Curse"

A dangerous virus has killed most of the world's population. Matthew and Hannah are two of the few survivors. Together they travel through deserted areas in search of relatives of Matthew who may still be alive. When Matthew suddenly becomes infected, the two seek refuge in a remote farm. Before long, Matthew is very ill and Hannah decides to give him a special medicine. The drug fights the virus, but can cause insanity. As Matthew slowly goes insane, Hannah makes a shocking discovery in a barn near the farm.
