Anoche Conquisté Tebas plot

On a cold winter afternoon, António and Jota return from the front with their friends, searching for an ancient Roman thermal bath. They joke with each other as they wade through swamps and recount stories of tactical glory. The baths have reappeared after a long period submerged in a reservoir, and people of all ages, curious about the discovery, come to spend the day there. But there's something mysterious about this thermal water—as if the baths influence the men's moods and give them the courage to say things they've never told anyone before. As day turns to night, they confess their feelings and their fear of losing their best friend forever.
