Amerika plot

Lillian (Sophie von Kessel), the daughter of a successful restaurateur, is told that she has inherited a restaurant in America, a small town between Chemnitz and Leipzig. It turns out to be a run-down boarding house, which the local contractor mafia has set its sights on. She tries to keep her head above water because she wants to prove that she can survive despite everything. When, despite everything, her dream falls apart, she turns out to be able to count on the support of the local population, who have meanwhile embraced her.
