Always Goodbye plot
"Why must it always be good-bye... when a woman loves like this ?"
Jim Howard helps the desperate Margot who is pregnant and unmarried. Howard makes sure that when her son is born, he is placed with Phil Marshall and his wife. Five years later, Margot has a good job and meets her son Roddy on one of her trips. Mrs. Marshall has since passed away and the father has a new fiancé. Margot is convinced that the woman will not be a good mother to Roddy, but is reminded by Howard that she has promised never to interfere in the boy's life again.
