Absolute Trust plot

"A love story for the grownup in all of us"

Top photojournalist David Marshall is going through an unhappy marriage but loves his children dearly. His wife Diane, who has been abused in her youth, is a frequent drinker and very depressed and anxious. She collects unsubstantiated factual evidence that David abuses his children. Emotionally ruined, his career crumbles. The court blocks contact with his children. David then looks for a psychiatrist who can help him get back on track. He ends up with the brilliant Rebecca Miller, who takes care of victims of child abuse while hiding her own dark secrets. He then finds refuge with the gifted artist Katherine Avery, but love has its price there too.
