Abel plot

It's 1993. The Soviet Union has collapsed, collective and state farms are being disbanded, and property is being divided and privatized. On a collective farm in southern Kazakhstan, no one trusts that the property will be distributed fairly: the leaders have long since overstepped their official authority and divided the sheep among themselves.
