A Hídember plot

The story takes place between 1820 and 1860, at the time of the Habsburg dynasty, and is a portrait of a Hungarian aristocrat, the Count Széchenyi. In the years after the fall of Napoleon, he seduces his brother's wife when he was young, and in doing so, he wasted his military career. After the woman dies shortly afterwards, things change drastically and become a responsible person. Thanks to a new, strong friendship, he manages to change himself for the better and becomes a celebrated politician. However, this puts him in direct opposition to the Habsburgs.
