"How long are you willing to wait for love?"
The film tells the story of four consecutive Valentine's Days over four years. Derek and Mark share an apartment, and on Valentine's Day, Mark hangs a sock on the door as a sign to Derek that he's on a date with a woman and doesn't want to be disturbed. They have become good friends a year later, but Derek develops stronger feelings for his friend as Mark wears out one girlfriend after another.
