Zoon van Mokum plot

This documentary tells the life story of Salomon Rodrigues de Miranda, who is best known as Monne de Miranda. In 1919 he became the first Jewish socialist alderman in Amsterdam. As an alderman, he has tens of thousands of workers' houses built and he stands up for a good food supply. In 1939 the alderman was accused by the newspaper De Telegraaf of fraud in the issue of building land.
