Zenji Flava plot

Documentary about the hip-hop scene on the island of Zanzibar. Thanks to Zanzibar's rich history as an international trading post, its culture has been influenced by many nationalities. These influences can be found in various cultural expressions, including their own, very popular traditional music. In the last decade, this style of music seems to be losing ground to hip-hop among the youth. Hip-hop acts as the new voice of the youth and articulates the problems at play in Zanzibar.
