Yulu plot
Zhang Ke Jia brought together six young directors to make twelve short films about just as many extraordinary people in contemporary China. Among them are artists, an investigative journalist, an environmental specialist and a businessman who works in real estate. They are all under forty and able to live as they please. On the one hand, the documentary heralds the arrival of a new generation, and on the other it is an inadvertently fitting commentary on Andy Warhol's great prophecy: "In the future, everyone will get his or her fifteen minutes of fame."
