Yukiko plot

“Can you mourn someone you don't remember?” That question arises in this calm kaleidoscope of intimate impressions and associations that connect three women. Director Young Sun Noh herself, her mother, who was born in Korea and still lives there, and her Japanese grandmother who, during the Japanese occupation of Korea, went to Seoul to join her Korean lover. Shortly after the birth of a daughter, she returned to Tokyo alone. Hardly anything is known about her.
