In a packed, very old white station wagon, Mbaye Sow drives as a courier from Portugal to Senegal and back again: a four thousand kilometer journey past gas stations, dusty dirt roads and checkpoints. As he loads his wares into and onto the car, a multitude of phone calls and voicemails ring out with people placing their orders with him, from comforters and thermoses to Calvin Klein boxers. Unemphatic observation and almost without leaving the car, the documentary paints a portrait of this alternative salesman and amiable family man, commuting between the two countries he calls home and which are linked by a colonial past.
