Ye Wonz Maibel plot

Director Mekuria's personal look at the history, the conflict and the road to reconciliation in Ethiopia. It is a story about love and betrayal, about idealism and the seduction of power. It is a tribute to a missing brother and a best friend who was executed. In short, it is the story of the Ethiopian students, their 'revolution' and its aftermath - a brutal military dictatorship.
