Wrestling Alligators plot

"The new seminole wars"

James Billie hunts alligators with bare hands, is a musician, soldier and poet. But most importantly, since 1979, he has been the charismatic leader of the Seminoles, the native people of the state of Florida. As a youth, James felt concerned for his people and was concerned about the high unemployment rate and limited prospects for the future. He ran for election and came up with a plan to get his people out of the doldrums: gambling. In 1979 he opened the first bingo hall on an Indian reservation. With the legalization of gambling, the Seminoles suddenly got an income; it made Billie unprecedentedly popular with his own people and beyond.
