Enthusiastic documentary about the 1987 film The Monster Squad, which flopped mercilessly at the time, but has grown into a true cult phenomenon over the last three decades. It is directed by leading actor Andre Gower and he has made it a real treat, albeit a little on the exaggerated and sentimental side here and there, especially when certain fans are allowed to tell their stories. But it is very nice to see and hear director Fred Dekker. I would have given him a better career. But of course, no one survives Robocop III.
