When Dirk Niepoort took over his family’s small Port trading house, he had big dreams that his father did not support. Nevertheless, Dirk persevered and turned it into one of the most successful wine companies in Portugal. A few years ago, he handed over the daily management to his son Daniel, who has the same idiosyncratic, creative passion for wine.
