Whirlybird plot

High above Los Angeles, two journalists, also married, cover the news of the 80s and 90s from a helicopter. Not only does this fundamentally change the way of reporting. The viewer also gets an inside look at the phenomenon of 'live news' and how the pressure of this job is taking its toll on the relationship of the duo, Marika Gerrard and Zoey Tur, then known as Bob. 'Wirlybird' reflects on many iconic moments in Los Angeles history, such as the infamous riot and OJ Simpson chase.
