Where Olive Trees Weep plot

"Nobody is free until we are all free."

A documentary that provides an insight into the lives of the Palestinian people under Israeli occupation. Palestinian and Jewish journalists, scientists and activists talk in detail about themes such as loss, trauma and the search for justice. For example, we are taken into the story of renowned Hungarian-Canadian physician and Holocaust survivor Dr. Gabor Maté, who offers trauma healing to women tortured in Israeli prisons. The film shows the deep scars of oppression, but also calls for mutual solidarity and justice.
