For three years, filmmaker Michael Münch has been working on his documentary looking at how Deutschrap (German rap) has evolved over the past 30 years. He enters into discussions and asks questions to all kinds of greats of the scene: Max Herre, Prince Pi, Sido, Marteria, Smudo, Samy Deluxe, Nate57, Afrob and MC Rene, to name just a few. They tell how they came into contact with the German hip-hop scene, which reached its peak in the early 1990s and how the genre took a new direction in the new millennium.
