Weltrevolution plot

The documentary 'World Revolution' tells the story of Stefan Weber, a man who founded the rock band “Drahdiwaberl”, and dreams of a world revolution. The film also includes a piece of history; time and again, political and cultural events that took place over the past 50 years are discussed. The first recordings date from 1957. Stefan is currently 10 years old. His older brother is shooting a number of short films with Stefan in the lead role. The first appearance of the band “Drahdiwaberl” during a folk festival in 1969 is also filmed by Stefan's brother. Then we see the rise of the Wiener Cult Band, which has maintained its status to this day. The film also shows a number of concert images from the period 1978–2007, thus documenting the various facets of the group. A typical day in the life of Stefan Weber serves as the framework for the entire film.
