Weekendschool plot

Want to learn from a real astronomer, an artist or a lawyer? That is possible at the Weekend School. For three years, every Sunday, children from deprived areas attend the IMC Weekend School. Not to improve their reading or writing skills, but to broaden their horizons. They are taught by professionals who tell something about their profession. This private initiative originated ten years ago in Amsterdam South-East and is now a success in nine places in the Netherlands. The documentary shows the ins and outs of the weekend school.
