War Feels Like War plot
More than 3,000 journalists gathered in Kuwait City in the run-up to the second Gulf War. Only a limited number were allowed to accompany the American and British army units to Iraq to report on the war first-hand: the 'embedded' journalists. Under the strict control of the army, they did not feel free to do their work in a journalistically responsible manner. For this documentary, Esteban Uyarra traveled across Kuwait and Iraq, in the wake of a few independent journalists. The film gives a picture of the war and the thankless, dangerous work of the journalists.
