Vraem Luuj plot

About the power of language as a formative factor of a new identity. Sergej Kreso, himself a new Dutchman, portrays a local police officer of Turkish descent, an adopted Haitian boy of 12 years old, a dark tambour matre and a Slovenian miner's daughter in his province of Limburg. By speaking Limburgish, they have started to feel at home in their new living environment and they are not seen as foreigners.
