Vogelvrij plot

Vogelvrij is about the eternal battle between man and bird. To be protected from starlings and gulls in orchards, meadows and fish farms, man has invented all kinds of 'scarecrows'. Besides the man fluttering on a stick in the meadow, these include fake birds of prey filled with helium, ultrasonic signals, laser guns and even radar systems.
