Vlucht uit Holland plot

During the Second World War, the parents of graphic designer Bau Winkel fled from the German occupier. During their flight through Europe, Bau's father recorded all the events in a signed diary. In 2012, Bau is following in their footsteps, together with director Ger Poppelaars, the places his father described along the way in his war chronicle, full of beautiful drawings, memorabilia and train tickets. In this documentary, we relive through the eyes of their son, how a young couple tried to find their way to the promised land, Switzerland.
