Vinyljunkies plot

Vinyljunkies is a hyper-visual documentary about the passion and obsession of vinyl collectors. The film shows how record collectors try to create an escape from everyday reality with their collecting drive. We get inside the head of 'Thrillerman' who can't stop collecting Michael Jackson's album Thriller after a thousand copies. We discover the comfort that a collection of Sexy Nude Covers can offer and experience the sacrifices that must be made to bring David Bowie's complete oeuvre together. Record store Demonfuzz Records in Rotterdam has been supplying the black gold for this unsatisfied hunger for materialized emotions, dreams and memories for years.
