Vietnam Opera plot

In 1973 a group of Vietnamese actors came to Amsterdam as part of a major manifestation for the liberation of their country. With their performance they put art at the service of this important issue. In his film, Johan van der Keuken alternates images of this naive and subtle performance with shots of Dutch people on a market in Amsterdam, who eat large quantities of sausage and fries in a clumsy manner.
