Verkrachting plot

“She probably provoked it” was not an uncommon reaction in the 1970s to reports of sexual violence. Public opinion on rape, Mady Saks argues in this film, is a male opinion. In this documentary, she lets women speak for themselves. The stories show the various forms in which this crime manifests: two of them recount years of abuse by their husbands, while a third was systematically raped by her father from a young age.
