Valentino's Ghost plot

In this comprehensive analysis, various scientists and journalists comment on the role of the American mass media in the portrayal of Muslims and Arabs. At the beginning of the twentieth century, the inhabitants of the Arab world were still portrayed as romantic villains who enjoyed themselves in their harems during long nights. The role of Arabs gradually became more criminal, after Western countries interfered in the oil-rich region. Experts such as Gore Vidal and Robert Fisk pinpoint historical events that caused the 1001 night vision of Arabs to tilt from that of barbarians to be tamed, to the predominant role of Muslims as terrorists.
