Turning 18 plot

Chen and Pei, two native Taiwanese teenage girls, come from broken homes. Chen takes care of nine siblings and a drunken mother. She finds salvation in Taekwondo, while she dreams of a better future. Due to a similar situation, Pei lives with her boyfriend to get rid of her abusive family. However, when the girls meet during a summer internship, both almost eighteen, their lives seem to change.
