Trotzki plot

Trotsky is a documentary about Leo Trotsky, the hero of the Russian Revolution and the Civil War who later fell into disfavor with Stalin and was eventually murdered in exile in Mexico by a Soviet agent. More than 130 years after his birth, this documentary follows the rise and fall of Trotsky: how is it possible that the great hero of the revolution was later so despised and hated? The film uses archival footage from around the world, new recordings and testimonials, analysis and commentary from Trotsky experts. We follow the path of the communist leader from Saint Petersburg and Moscow through Istanbul, Paris and Vienna to Mexico City.
