Tommy plot
In 1996, Tommy Morrison was 27 years old and had just signed a contract that would give him $38 million for a boxing match with Mike Tyson. He was recognized for his role in Rocky V and was even called Champ. Then everything changed with a positive HIV test. Gone were the guarantees, the entourage, the money and the women. His life of excesses had come to an end. The world saw Morrison as yet another defining moment in the story of HIV and AIDS. For Tommy Morrison, it was all about denial. Not only denying the disease he regularly tested positive for, but not being able to understand that his old, beloved life would never return.
