To Walk Again plot

Marc Herremans' career took a dramatic turn on January 28, 2002. He fell during a training session, which left him paralyzed from the feet to the chest. Two months later, Marc resumes his training. He wants to be back at the start of the Iron Man in Hawaii as a wheelchair athlete within six months. He also firmly believes that he will be able to walk back. We follow Marc's impressive road between the accident in January 2002, and his arrival at the Iron Man in Hawaii in October 2006. In between all training sessions, Marc dedicates himself to all fellow sufferers and collects funds for research into spinal cord injuries. His meeting with actor Christopher Reeve made a big impression on Marc and strengthened his belief that he will one day walk.
