ThuleTuvalu plot
The documentary Thule Tuvalu is a portrait of two peoples whose fate is inextricably linked, even though they are half a world apart. The ice melting in the far north of Canada (Thule) will eventually cause the coral island of Tuvalu to drown in the ocean. The reality of climate change becomes visible by showing people who are already undeniably affected by it, peoples whose traditional way of life or habitat is doomed to disappear.
