Throw Down Your Heart plot

Director Sascha Paladino follows his brother, the American banjo virtuoso Béla Fleck, on his journey through Africa. He is looking for the African roots of the banjo and wants to record an album. The infectious music film shows him in Mali, Gambia, Tanzania and Uganda, where he improvises with local musicians and gains a lot of inspiration.
