Billboards and commercial messages dominate public space like never before. Renovation projects are rarely without huge advertisements, and empty shop windows are successfully rented out as shopvertising. It is visual pollution, but can it be reversed? This documentary looks at various activists from the worlds of advertising, street art and politics. It sharpens the already exciting relationship between the literally flat visual attention, the urban economy and social cohesion in the city.
