In December 2012, in the millennia-old Mayan calendar, the period of the fourth sun ends and that of the fifth begins. According to many Native American myths and prophecies, we are now on the eve of tremendous events that will herald an era of peace and harmony on Earth after an unprecedented turbulent time. Indian medicine men, women and tribal elders from North, Central and South America have twice now massively heeded the call of the Mayan seer and knower of prophecies 'Wandering Wolf' to come together and prepare themselves through rituals for the new time. For Wandering Wolf, this marked the end of a ramble through all the Native American tribes in America, calling on them to unite. In The Year Zero, Wandering Wolf and Mayan healer and rainmaker Don Julian are introduced. They tell about their lives, their work, the functioning of the Mayan calendar and the meaning of the Mayan prophecies for mankind.
